This probably seems like a really dumb question, but here it goes. I have a problem. I'm trying to load my riding lawn-mower onto the back of my pickup truck. Sounds easy right? Well, there are a few problems. I don't have a ramp, I don't have a trailer nor do I have the money to buy either of the two. Outside of those two problems, I don't see anyway I can lift it even half-way. I am not Hulk Hogan. Any suggestions?

Answer
Do you have some boards lying around somewhere? We have used 5 or 6 ft pieces of lumber - preferably at least as wide as the tires Place them like a ramp between the ground and the truck bed to match the width of the tires. If you don't have any lumber lying around, you might check craigslist or place an ad on freecycle.

Why is my lawn mower not getting enough power and not working?

Cranks up and then blade spins at half speed. If I lean the lawn mower back, it speeds up. If I lean the lawn mower forward, it shuts off.

Tory-bilt 22" key start push mower.

Answer
I'm not good on lawnmowers but I have problems if the air filter gets full of dust and bigger stuff and that sucks the life out of it. I pull mine out and give it a good knock. You also could have something twisted around the blade so that it has a hard time turning when it is cutting grass. I found I also have to start mine by lifting the blade off the grass and then lowering it and letting the motor warm up a bit before I start cutting.
