i bought a craftsmen self perpelled lawn mower and didnt realize it was not a mulcher. can you buy a mulcher blade and change it ?

Use the regular unleaded ( 87 octane ) for all lawn mowers. The only reason to use higher octane would be for higher RPM motors, like chain saws or raceing engins.
