I have a craftsman push lawn mower from sears thats due for an oil change. what kind of oil do I use? I lost the manual

Craftsman uses Briggs and Tecumseh engines. Both manufacturers recommend SAE 30 oil. And both use 20 ounces of oil. Check your dipstick when you are almost full.

Where can I get an Owners Manual for a Craftsman Riding Lawn Mower model 917.255916?

Recently purchased a Craftsman Riding Lawn Mower with a Briggs and Stratton engine in nice condition but without an Owner's Manual. Would like to know about maintenence such as grease points, type of oil and grade of gasoline to use, etc. Sears and other parts suppliers say owner's manual is no longer available. Does anyone have a manual that they can copy and send me, or FAX, or scan and email, or just send so I can copy and return. Will pay for manual or efforts. Thanks.
