I just bought a new Husky lawn mower and when I use the self-propel feature, it makes a noise like metal scraping metal. The oil level is full. Is this normal? Might it go away after using it a little bit? Thanks.

Answer
It sounds like it could be a loose flywheel.

What would happen if I put automotive fuel line cleaner in my lawn mower?

Some guy

I have a push lawn mower that I found out today is running a bit rough and dieing sometimes. I think the carburetor and/or fuel line needs cleaning. I need the mower tomorrow and won't have time to take the mower to a shop. What would happen if I added automotive fuel line cleaner to the mowers gas? Would it clean the fuel line? Would it cause more problems? Please help.

Answer
it would be fine but if you can go to the store get berymans carburetor cleaner in the bottle not the spray can and empty your Fuel tank pour it in and run for 5 min should help a lot no side affects ether i do it all the time in my 5 lawn mowers
