i live in hinesville ga and in my neighborhood there is a guy that drives around on his lawn mower with a small trailer attached cutting peoples yards...i was wondering if this is legal or not. as far as i know he does have a business license.

Technically is not legal if the vehicle is not "street legal" (plate number, lights, insurance, and so on).
But some local laws make some exceptions (it depends on the jurisdiction) if he travels a "short distance" like from his home to the home around the corner.

Is it possible to put a 6cyl motor in a 1990 Chevy G-20 van?

I have a '90 Chevy G-20 panel van. The 305 cid is blown and the 10-bolt rear-end will need to be replaced. Is it possible to have a smaller 6 cyl motor installed instead of the 305? I'm looking for gas milage. The van will only hold a small amount of amateur radio gear and may only pull a small, lawn-mower trailer for the gasoline-powered power generating unit.

Most come with a 6 from the factory , so motor mounts and parts are had easy at any parts store. Nice thing about G M is most parts are interchangable, so you will have no problem. You dont lose gas miliage , just horsepower, so it may take longer to get up to speed.
