Best Push Lawn Mower?

MissSammi

My husband and I just got a house. It has a small yard so I was thinking about a push mower. I don't want to spend a lot of money on gas and want it to be fairly green so I was thinking about a "reel mower". Do these work good? I was thinking about this one:

Any suggestions on brands or any better ideas?

Answer
At one time, that's what everyone cut their lawns with. They worked pretty well then, so why not now, right? And Husqvarna is a good dependable brand. Now, having said all that, the only drawback might be the lawn itself. If the grass is basically fine-textured - you know, like bluegrass, fine fescue, or perennial rye - you should have no problem pushing that mower through it. If the grass is of a coarser texture, however, pushing it could be a hassle. And another thing; this might be a misprint, but it should be pointed out. I noticed that the cutting height range of this particular model is between .5 and 1.5 inches. This is too small a range. You should get a model that will allow for (at least) a 3" cutting height on the high side because, when the weather gets a bit warmer, it's advisable to increase the cutting height to at least two inches or more.

lawn mower?

lalalala

Ok...so my lawn mower is fine and everything, its like brand new and we barely even use it
so today i'm mowing the lawn and like every 15 steps i take, the basket gets loose.
Only the right side of the basket gets loose though, not the left side.

Any way to fix it or anything?

PLEASE HELP!?

~Thanks!

Answer
Make sure the mower is turned off, check out that side of the basket to what the problem is. You should be able to tell from looking at it.
