I am a fisherman and am pretty good at mechanical stuff and i want to build my own lobster pot hauler that works of a 12 volt car battery ,or an engine and a gearbox, i know that but what is the procedure and the right gearbox for the job, am sure if i use a petrol engine any engine ,ie lawn mower or other will do, i just need someone to guide me and be more specific about a gearbox espescially, thanks alot,.
