Used lawnmowers aren't worth much. They are just not built for longevity. A top quality machine will last longer only if maintenance and cleaning have been performed religiously. Who do you know would give that much care to something like a lawnmower? Another thing to consider With a riding mower is that when it's worn out beyond repair,it's hard to get rid of it. I use a riding mower as a matter of necessity (5 acres). If I had a regular sized yard,I'd stick with a good walk behind mower-they are easier to maintain and last a lot longer.

Long time ago it might be something cool and expensive to have for a man's toy for his yard. Nowadays, you can get it from Lowe's home improvement for about a little over $ 1,000, and get a nice one. If you didn't have Lowe's charge card yet when you apply for it then you might get 10% off. The catch is pay off as soon as you could, and don't buy anything else with it. Then chances are you wouldn't come ahead with the deal. Enjoy your yard.
