Robot mower?

Redmondina

I am currently building a robot lawn mower which I intend to build and sell from my garage (at least for now.) It is solar powered, waterproof and can work on anything from mud and sand to puddles of water.

I am aware there are many competitors out there, however these are horrendously expensive - some are only a few dollars short of two grand.

My mower costs around $35 to make. It is autonomous, versatile and requires no charging or refueling. Because it is solar powered I like to say it is "drop and go." It does require fencing but you can use any material that is higher than an inch.

Would you buy it? If so, for how much? Please be reasonable.

Answer
If it really works, I will add some basic features to tell the size of the lawn, so it does not go over. As for the price, it can easily double if you add the marketing, distribution, labor and any other miscellaneous costs to it. Contact me if you need to talk.

does anyone make a remote control lawn mower for the disabled?

Answer
"A clever device that consists of a battery powered mower without any of the needs for control by an operator with a control system (i.e. no handle or other bits to fiddle with and get in the way) and an inbuilt controlling device that tells the mower where to go."
